TCNJ’s 2011 Family Weekend Program, October 21st-22nd

All parents and family members are welcome to attend. The program brochure has been mailed to parents of all first year and entering transfer students. A schedule with specific times and locations will be posted before Family Weekend. Since event times and locations are subject to change, families are encouraged to visit the registration table in the Brower Student Center on Family Weekend to pick up a final schedule.

Family and Friends Fiesta lunch tickets can be purchased for $18 at Green Lawn on Saturday.

If you ordered online, you received an email receipt for the Fiesta Lunch. Please bring your email receipt to the registration table in order to pick up your wristbands for this event. Please note that if your student is on a meal plan he/she does not need a Fiesta ticket and will be able to swipe his/her card. Children under 5 are FREE. Our Fiesta menu consists of beef tacos, lettuce, tomatoes, various cheeses and other toppings, rice and beans, chips and salsa, as well as assorted deserts and beverages.

Football Tickets can be purchased at the stadium on game day. $6 Adults, $3 Children

We hope you’ll consider spending both Friday and Saturday with your student, on campus at the activities planned for you, or off campus enjoying a fall weekend in the area. You may want to go window-shopping in Princeton, pick apples at Terhune Orchards (www.terhuneorchards.com) or stroll the park-like setting and works of art at the Grounds for Sculpture (www.groundsforsculpture.org)

If you do choose to arrive on Friday to take advantage of some of these opportunities and plan to stay overnight in the area, please note the hotel information below:

Because some activities may experience slight changes in time and location, do stop by the Family Weekend Registration Table in the Brower Student Center (1-6pm on 10/21 and 9am-1pm on 10/22) to pick up an updated schedule upon your arrival.
